About

We’re a fast-growing group of local residents concerned about climate change and sustainability. Our aim is to reduce carbon emissions and waste in the Muswell Hill and surrounding areas, encouraging residents, local businesses and community groups to live more sustainably. Membership of Muswell Hill Sustainability Group is open to anyone and we are always looking for volunteers to help with projects and campaigns, running info stalls, events and workshops.

Our projects

Low Carbon Buying Group – providing discounts on energy saving measures and renewables for local residents. Read more

100 Homes project – working with 100 local homes to reduce their carbon footprints. Read more

Helping Haringey Schools to reduce their carbon emissions – working with schools across the borough to cut their energy bills and their carbon footprint. Read more

DIY Draught-busting workshops – informal workshops in people’s homes to teach people basic skills to install draught-proof strips around windows and doors plus secondary glazing panels with magnetic strips. Read more
