Haringey 40:20 action day

Saturday 6th October 9.30 – 2.30, Haringey Heartlands Secondary School, Station Road, N22 7ST  Everyone living and working in Haringey is invited to take part in the 2nd annual Haringey 40:20 conference.  At this event you will find out what has happened since the launch of Haringey 40:20 and can help define the next steps in achieving the ambitious Haringey 40:20 target to reduce carbon emissions across the borough by 40% by 2020:

·     Hear key recommendations for Haringey from the Carbon Commission

·     Discuss major 40:20 projects including greening our homes (the Green Deal), an alternative energy scheme for the Upper Lee Valley region and “Going Dutch” walking and cycling upgrades across Haringey

·     Contribute to the creation of a cleaner, greener and more prosperous Haringey ·
