Try out our new home retrofit advice service

May 10, 2021 By Cara Jenkinson Leave a Comment

Our homes are one of the biggest contributors to our personal carbon footprint, so many of us are keen to make them more energy efficient. But where do you start? Muswell Hill Sustainability Group are offering a new retrofit advice service, provided by Future Fit Homes – which is a community enterprise based in South London.

The service starts with a 30 minute free half hour of advice, which should help you decide whether your project is big enough to need a qualified Retrofit Co-ordinator and Whole House Plan starting at £295; some virtual professional Retrofit advice @ £60 per hour; some on-site Retrofit advice for an extra £30 call out fee or to arrange to have a thermal imaging survey. Thermal imaging surveys, start at £299 and can only be undertaken during cold winter months – but can be booked in advance. There are further details of the thermal imaging service at https://www.futurefithomes.org/post/thermal-imaging-season-ending-soon and it is based on the award winning C.h.e.e.s.e technology.
