Local residents associations

There are many active residents associations in the Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace areas. Most of these will look at issues such as planning and conservation, as well as community safety, litter and local shops and amenities. They always welcome new members and can be a valuable source of information if you’ve just moved in.

There are two main residents associations covering the top and bottom of Muswell Hill. The Muswell Hill and Fortis Green Association (MHFGA), set up in 1948. This has over 700 members in the Muswell Hill, Fortis Green & Alexandra wards and produces a regular informative newsletter. Muswell Hill Sustainability Group was set up by MHFGA in 2008, and we have always enjoyed excellent relations with the association.
At the bottom of the hill is the Warner Estate Residents Association (WERA). This covers all of the roads between Priory Road and Alexandra Park.

There are a number of smaller residents associations which cover different streets in the Muswell Hill area.

On the north side of Alexandra Park there are the Alexandra and Palace Gates Residents’ associations, serving the areas between Alexandra Park Road (N10) and Duke’s Avenue, and between Alexandra Park Road (N22) and Crescent Rise, respectively.
