Green Open Homes 2022 – Tuesday evening talks in October

Find out how to ‘green’ your home from this experts at our series of three Tuesday evening talks this October – we look forward to welcoming you.

Tuesday 11th October, 7.30pm Talk: Retrofit Essentials (In person and online)

Dermot Barnes (MHSG & Chair, en10ergy) will cover the essentials of improving the energy efficiency of a flat or house. Where to start, what to prioritise, best value actions and how to navigate the complexities.

Josie Evetts from Ecofurb will also be talking about their advice service, including Whole House Plans.

Tuesday 18th October, 7.30pm Talk: Easy Energy Saving at Home (In person only)

Alex Hartley of Energias will explain what we can all do to save energy at home. – tenants and homeowners alike. Alex has many years delivering energy projects, with a particular focus on energy saving and fuel poverty.

Tuesday 25th Otober, 7.30pm

Online talk via Zoom: Two architects on their ‘deep retrofit’ projects in Muswell Hill

Natalie Black of Enbee Architecture and Design, is working on a deep retrofit on Muswell Hill Road. This is a whole house responsible retrofit with the lowest carbon solutions throughout.

Jeremy Stacey, of Jeremy Stacey Architects, has completed the retrofit of 9 Alexandra Road.
