Understanding Solar Energy and Heat Pumps
Kaspar Bradshaw, Next Step Heating
Hear from an expert about solar systems to generate electricity and to heat water, and heat pumps to replace gas boilers. It can be difficult to get reliable information and good advice, so this talk will be of value for anyone who is considering an installation, or just wants to understand more about home generation and heat pumps.
About our speaker
Kaspar studied mechanical engineering and renewable energy systems at Dundee University. He started work installing solar hot water systems in the UK, then went on to work in Ghana, where he installed grid-tied and stand-alone solar photovoltaic systems. Kaspar managed Enhabit’s mechanical ventilation and heat recovery, heat pump and solar projects, and now coordinates this work at Next Step Heating.
The talk and questions will run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm followed by an opportunity to continue discussion and questions afterwards over refreshments. The talk will be in person and livestreamed – we will send the link to ticketholders in advance.
