This summer MHSG is campaigning to persuade local people and businesses to cut use of single-use plastics. The Blue Planet 2 series and contributing scientist Dr Steve Simpson’s talk to MHSG last autumn made clear the horrific impact of plastics on marine life – action is needed fast.
Our volunteers are surveying Muswell Hill cafes and restaurants to ask them to stop supplying one-use cups, bottles, straws and food containers.
