Plastics ‘creature’ swims onto the Broadway!

An unusual marine ‘monster’ – and its offspring – have joined MHSG’s call to give up single-use plastics like cups, bottles and bags.  A grim reminder of the carnage caused to marine life by plastics litter, it was on display at our Saturday stall on Muswell Hill Broadway.

We’re asking local people to pledge to stop using one or more of these products to prevent waste and pollution.  Pledges are entered in a weekly draw to win a stylish reusable Chilly water bottle or bamboo eCofffee cup, generously donated by the suppliers.

If you’d like to take the pledge and enter next week’s draw, email info@mhsgroup.org

Calling all children: the ‘monster’ needs a name!  Please email your suggestions to info@mhsgroup.org by 30th June.  The winner will receive a £15 voucher for the Children’s Bookshop in Fortis Green Road.
