Muswell Hill Sustainability Group launched en10ergy limited, Muswell Hill’s first social enterprise dedicated to reducing carbon emissions in Muswell Hill and surrounding areas. Lynne Featherstone MP and Cllr Clare Kober attended and gave their very enthusiastic support. It was a good gathering. We had six stalls at the Launch. En10ergy had swathes of pennants above its stall and looked very energising indeed. They sold well over a 1000 pounds of shares and the enquiries keep coming in. Haringey Council’s stall provided lots of information on their carbon cutting schemes, Muswell Hill Sustainability Group, of course, was represented by its usual stall and we signed up several new members. A new and important endeavour of Muswell Hill Sustainability is the 100 Houses Study and its stall was a centre for many interested locals, (see the 100 Houses Study page in the pages list right of the home page). We had Dermot Barnes running his stall on Energy Saving Solutions where people could see the actual technology and discuss solutions with our expert and we had Fred Fiztke’s stall on the Meadow Orchard Project. Please go to ( will put in link when I get it) for more information on the very interesting plans for that rather large patch of land in our midst. And we had Thomas Donkor of SolarEmpower showing a PV panel and encouraging Muswell Hillians to do the alternative energy deed!
