This November a variety of homes in Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Alexandra Park, Highgate and Tottenham are on show to the public. Properties include Edwardian villas, a 1920s former London County Council property, a timber-framed 1980s house and the cob and straw eco building at the Meadow Orchard community garden. Features include underfloor heating systems, an air source heat pump, rainwater harvesting, a green roof and much more.
This is a great way to learn what others are doing to make their homes more environmentally friendly and understand what measures you can implement in your own home.

Does the owner walk and talk you round the house for an hour? Or is it that once you have booked a slot you can drop in at any point during that hour?
