en10ergy Solar – Solar electricity on Haringey Schools

Muswell Hill Sustainability Group is launching an exciting new renewable energy co-operative called en10ergy Solar.  This will provide a unique opportunity for our community to invest in solar panels on the roofs of schools and other community buildings.   Investors will receive an attractive and fair return on their investment anticipated to start at 4% and increasing during the lifetime of the business.  Tax payers may also be able to benefit from tax relief of 30% of their initial investment under the Enterprise Investment Scheme (subject to expected confirmation by HMRC that investment in en10ergy Solar is eligible for this relief).   Schools and other community buildings will get the panels installed and maintained for free and will benefit from discounted electricity.

We are conducting a survey to establish the level of interest locally in such a scheme.  Please take a few minutes to read about the proposed offer and answer the 6 questions that we have.  The survey has a summary of the offer and you can find more detail here.
